What is there to do in Ulaanbaatar? It’s the question I asked myself when United announced their new non-stop route from NRT-UBN. It’s such a unique route for an American carrier; it’s a 5th freedom flight, meaning the route doesn’t touch down in tue airline’s home country. It’s also a place that hadn’t previously been on my radar, but suddenly was. So I started researching. Giraffes, warthogs, luxury accommodations, and three Michelin keys? It’s all the reality of a stay at Giraffe Manor. Every meal was over-the-top, and every bite was above and beyond. The service, though? Unparalleled. Not only do the staff take care of all your dining needs, they take the most amazing photos, especially at breakfast and afternoon tea, when the resident giraffes join in.
